Sword Academy respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect through this website and how we use it.

Data we collect

  • Data you enter in the contact, registration and service request forms (such as name, e-mail, phone, organisation and message).
  • Your e-mail address when you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • Limited technical data to protect the site from abuse (a hashed fingerprint of your network address and your browser type).
  • Analytics and marketing data (cookies) only after you consent through the consent banner.

How we use it

  • To answer your request and contact you about it.
  • To manage registrations for programs and services.
  • To send the newsletter to subscribers; you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every message.
  • To improve the site and measure campaigns when you accept analytics and marketing cookies.

Visit statistics

We measure visits with our own in-house system, without third-party tools, to improve our content and learn which pages and services interest visitors most.

  • We record the pages you visit, your country (derived from the network), device, browser and operating system type, site language, traffic source, the buttons and links you click, searches made on the site, and forms sent.
  • We do not store your IP address or your full browser details. Each visitor is represented by an encrypted code that changes every day, so your visits cannot be linked across days or used to identify you.
  • If you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner, we keep a random identifier in your browser that contains no personal data, so we can recognise returning visitors. You can withdraw consent at any time and the identifier is deleted.
  • Visits from crawlers and from our own team are excluded.
  • Detailed visit data is kept for 400 days and then deleted; only daily totals that relate to no individual visitor remain. We do not share this data with anyone or use it for advertising.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your data. We use trusted providers to host the website and database and to send e-mail, and we keep data only as long as needed for its purpose or as required by law.
